In partnership with Live Nation, they’ve “diverted 90% of waste generated by fans from landfills – with some participating venues reaching 99% landfill diversion rate,” sharing figures from last year’s campaign. At US venues this year, you can expect to see zero-waste collection sites, Onsite green teams that’ll sort waste, minimal amounts of single-use plastics from concessions, water refill booths, composting, and food donations. Every single step ensures that they can keep up with their goals to divert 90% of waste away from landfills.
